Bed, Bath and Beyond

For the final project in 3D modeling, I wanted to make an invention that helps people to wake up in the morning. From past experiences I have found that water and falling wake me up easily. I wanted to combine an alarm clock, a bath (which is not shown), and a bed so that in the morning someone could wake up, pull a lever and be dropped into a ready bath. The machine works by pulling pins from under the doors that allow them to swing open. There is a camping mattress and a pillow for comfort and shower curtain on each side for privacy.

The purpose of the invention is to find a humorous answer to an everyday problem. I sometimes have a difficult time waking up and showering everyday and this machine makes waking up and bathing as easy as pulling a lever.

Some artistic inspiration was from: Jean Tinguely, Rube Goldberg, Jaques Carelman, Christine Beaton, and Chindogu
